This blog is about compiling my recipes on an online journal and anything under the sun. That is related to my passion or the road to achieving the goal to be called, a “CHEF”. The word chef is gained through experience, education, and respect of my peers and the people around me.
Started to learn how to cook at a young age of 7 and my mom would send me off to the wet market to do the food shopping and later taught me how to cook.
Every now and then, I would experiment with ingredients and have my husband taste what I had concocted. He is the official food taster and my worst critic of all times besides my family back home in the Philippines. Love trying on new cuisines or food experiences so that it can inspire me to prepare delicious & hearty meals. Love taking photos of food before digging into it and I still do up to now. As evident on my Instagram feeds and with lots of complaint from the hubby.
Happily living back in Stavanger, Norway and working for COOR as a chef/canteen head. Some of the food and recipes you would read from this blog are the food that I prepare for the staff of Skretting´s head office in Stavanger and the rest which I prepare at home, food events or for my clients.
